Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna Shine in ‘Thama’ Teaser
The much-awaited teaser of Thama is finally here, and it promises a vampire romance like never before. Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, the film dives into a dark yet emotional love story, but it’s Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Malaika Arora who end up stealing the show.
The film is part of the Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe, which has already delivered cult hits like Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), and Stree 2 (2024). Naturally, the buzz around Thama has been sky-high since the first look posters dropped.
A Dark and Romantic Glimpse Into the World of Thama
Directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar, the 1-minute-49-second teaser packs in suspense, romance, and spine-chilling drama.
It begins with Ayushmann asking, “Reh paaogi mere bina, 100 saal tak?” followed by Rashmika’s heartfelt reply, “100 saal kya, ek pal ke liye bhi nahi.” Their intense chemistry sets the tone for the supernatural love story.
Rashmika is then seen crouching in a jungle, eyes burning with intensity, while Ayushmann, bruised and battered, leans against a tree. The teaser also shows Ayushmann being attacked by a bear, romantic dance sequences with Rashmika, and a glimpse of Malaika Arora in a sizzling item number.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the King of Darkness
The teaser’s most powerful moment comes at the end when Nawazuddin Siddiqui makes his entry as the mysterious king of darkness. Perched atop the ruins of an old haveli, he delivers a single dialogue that instantly steals the spotlight. Fans are already demanding to see more of his character.
