When a fan asked how he really felt about Amaal joining Bigg Boss, Armaan gave a candid reply:
“Obviously, I was never for it, but ab Amaal bhai sahab ko kaun samjhaye. Anyway, boarding school samajhke kuch masti karke aajaye wapas. Bahut gaane pending hai.”
(Translation: “I was never in favour, but now who can explain anything to Amaal? Anyway, let him treat it like boarding school, enjoy a little, and come back. We have many songs pending.”)

Even host Salman Khan seemed surprised at Amaal’s decision. “Your songs are doing well, your shows are doing well. I didn’t think you’d actually go through with it,” Salman admitted during the premiere.
Amaal responded with gratitude, crediting Salman for shaping his journey in the industry. “You gave me that start 10 years ago. Today, I’m doing something completely different — and once again, you’re a part of it. You’re lucky for me.”
