Vivo introduced the Vivo V29e in India on Monday. The new Vivo V29e smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, a powerful 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging at 44W.

In India, the Vivo V29e is available in two versions: one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs. 26,999, and another with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs. 28,999. It comes in two appealing colors: Artistic Blue and Artistic Red. The phone can be pre-ordered starting from August 28 through the Vivo e-store and Flipkart. Starting from September 7, customers in India can buy the Vivo V29e both online through these platforms and in select retail stores across the country.

Additionally, Vivo is offering extra benefits to customers. These include potential discounts of up to Rs. 2,000 through exchange offers and up to Rs. 2,500 through specific bank offers. Eligible cardholders can also get up to 10 percent cashback, and there’s an upgrade bonus of up to Rs. 2,500 for those getting the Vivo V29e.

Vivo V29e: Features and Specifications

The Vivo V29e boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. This display offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a high peak brightness of 1300 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of up to 360Hz. It runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, paired with the Adreno 619 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and storage options up to 256GB. The phone operates on the Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13 operating system.

For photography, the Vivo V29e features a dual rear camera system. This setup includes a 64-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, along with an LED flash. Notably, the phone also offers a significant upgrade in its front camera, featuring a 50-megapixel sensor. This is a noticeable improvement from the 16-megapixel front camera on the Vivo V29 Lite.

The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports fast charging at 44W. Connectivity options encompass 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. Weighing 180.5 grams, the phone’s dimensions are 164.42mm x 74.92mm x 7.57mm.
